ANGELS

ANGELS, the first French industrial smallsat designed by HEMERIA in collaboration with CNES, placed into orbit in December 2019, has successfully celebrated two years in Space, thus marking the end of the initial contractual undertaking signed by the two partners.

Five times more powerful and ten times smaller than its predecessors, ANGELS fully lived up to its promises: reliability, lifetime and operability, integrating seamlessly into the existing Argos constellation. Its results demonstrate the serious approach by the HEMERIA teams, responsible for the platform and for satellite integration, and by those at THALES ALENIA SPACE and SYRLINKS who developed the Argos-Néo payload.

In the light of this success, CNES and HEMERIA signed a two-and-a-half year lifetime extension agreement.
