Wednesday 18 December, Soyuz left off for the 23rd time from the Guiana Space Centre (CSG), Europe’s spaceport in French Guiana, carrying ANGELS, the first French industrial nanosatellite developed in collaboration by the CNES and HEMERIA.
Originally scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, 2019, the launch has been postponed to this day following a technical problem on the launcher, quickly resolved by ARIANESPACE.
Today’s launch, which was very complex because it was multi-orbit, went smoothly. HEMERIA is therefore proud to announce that our ANGELS satellite is positioned in its orbit, and that everything is working perfectly. At 3:39 p.m, we received the 1st Telemetry.
